Why we love tops with pockets

Tops with pockets are great to give your ensemble maximum pocket coverage. Tunics with pockets can mean you don't need to throw out your leggings without pockets. Blazers are a wonderful thing to complete your outfit, and I try to ensure that all the blazers with pockets have usable pockets, not those flaps that hide nothing but disappointment underneath. I do this by looking for the use of wording describing the pockets as 'practical' , or I look for the line above the pocket which shows there is pocket underneath (as described here). Sometimes you may need to to unpick a stitched up pocket, as I'm told this is sometimes done to make the outfit hang better. We also have cardigans with pockets, to keep your body and your hands warm, and shirts with pockets. I know some of you may not like chest pockets, but someone once told me they like to put business cards in there, so I'm leaving them in. Hoodies, even though hoodies should always have pockets, otherwise, what is the point of them?
